Bouchercon and Back Again

Bouchercon was last week, and what a weekend! It was the first of many opportunities to show Detour to Murder around, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There were so many eager readers at the event sharing their passion for mystery and suspense. The panels were fabulous, and the cast of characters was impressive. I was able to make it to Teresa Burrell's Saturday morning panel appearance on "The Continuous Conversation," which was great. It's always good to see authors and friends in their element. Be sure to check the Bouchercon website for pictures from the event, and keep an eye on the calendar for next year. If you didn't make it to this one, you'll want to join the crowd in 2011!

Back in Southern California, the calendar is filling up with events. If you're in town, I'm at the Barnes & Noble in Torrance all weekend. Yesterday was my first official day of signing Detour to Murder, and it's been a blast. Stop on by!
